"Came here June 27, 86° with SW winds at 10 mph and the water was safe and calm for our 3 & 6 yo. Although 75% humidity made it wilting hot. Perfect place to bring the kids and fish along the shore. We saw a handful of anglers fishing in the water. However, there were tons of flat rocks to stand up on while fishing, tiny rocks and shells for the kids to pick and play. Unfortunately, the shoreline has tons of broken glasses so be careful with the little ones. Lots of wildlife. Large trees for hammocks and shade. About 24 parking spaces but no restrooms."
