Gio's Chicago Pizza

"As a native Chicagoan who recently moved to Nashville, I’ve been on the hunt for a truly authentic Chicago tavern-style pizza… and I finally found it! 🍕 Wow. The flavor, the freshness, and most importantly…THE CRUST!! Perfectly thin, crispy, and exactly what I’ve been missing. This pizza absolutely exceeded my expectations and instantly brought me back home for a minute. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!"

"Gio’s Chicago Pizza exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked up, Greg made me feel welcome with his genuine friendliness and outstanding customer service. His positive attitude and attention to customers truly enhanced the entire experience. As for the pizza—it was simply incredible. Without a doubt, it was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was perfectly cooked, the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and every bite was absolutely delicious. You can tell that a lot of care goes into making each pizza. If you're looking for amazing food and exceptional service, Gio’s Chicago Pizza is a must! I'll definitely be back!"

"I ordered a Chicago tavern-style pizza on a Friday afternoon, and it was delicious and authentic—right down to the cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. It’s every bit as good as the homemade version I once made from a New York Times recipe. Chicago tavern-style pizza originated in neighborhood bars in the 1950s, where thin, crispy, square-cut pies were served to keep customers drinking. Gio’s also serves deep dish, which I’ll try next. The pizza was fresh and fairly priced at about $20 for a 16-inch pepperoni. Highly recommend!"
